About our CSA
The Maple Valley Farms CSA runs for 10 consecutive weeks each summer.
Each season is filled with our CSA member favorites. The vegetable shares include main-season vegetables, such as peas, corn, beets, onions, potatoes, lettuce, carrots, spinach, herbs, tomatoes, peppers, beans, kale, squash, celery, eggplant, cucumbers, swiss chard, parsnips, and cabbage, to name a few. So many colors and flavors to enjoy throughout the season.
When purchasing a Maple Valley Farms CSA share, members receive a basket of fresh locally grown vegetables once a week, for ten consecutive weeks, producing a real connection to their food and their farmer. We try to vary the produce each week, while maintaining our commitment to providing you with produce you want. We, the farmer, choose what is ready each week, and what will go in the packages.
Each week, our customers can expect to receive an email with news from the farm and a tasty recipe or two, for some of the items included in each weeks package. There are also options to add extra produce in any given week, if you find you need more for a special event, guests, etc.

The program season is ten weeks long beginning the third or fourth week of July and runs until the third or fourth week of September. By purchasing a share of our crop prior to the beginning of the season, CSA members increase our cash flow at a time when expenses are high and revenue is low.
We have two different sizes of shares available. However, it is hard to say exactly how many people a share size will feed. A half share is sized to feed a young family or a couple, priced at $300. This package will have on average 6-8 different varieties of vegetables. A full share is sized to feed larger families, vegans and vegetarians, or someone that loves to put extra summer veggies in the freezer for the winter months. It is priced at $546. The full share has on average 8-10 different varieties of vegetables.
